YorLinc provides a range of services to support disabled and neurodivergent employees, including: Workplace Needs Assessments, assistive technology training, 1:1 coaching, and guidance on reasonable adjustments.

Employees can’t refer themselves directly, but you can ask your employer to arrange one on your behalf. Let them know that you’d like a Workplace Needs Assessment and that YorLinc can support the process. If your employer has any questions, they’re welcome to contact us directly – we’ll guide them through what’s involved and how to get started.

Yes. Access to Work is a government-funded scheme that provides support for people with a disability, long-term health condition or neurodivergence in the workplace. While your employer will need to submit the application, you can flag that you’d like to explore this option. YorLinc can advise on what support may be available and help your employer understand how to get the right adjustments in place.

You don’t need to share everything – but to access support through schemes like Access to Work or request reasonable adjustments, your employer does need to know that you’re seeking support. We can help you navigate those conversations and decide what to share.

That’s okay. YorLinc operates with full confidentiality and only shares the information you consent to. Your support plan can be as private or open as you choose.

Most assessments are completed within 1 to 2 weeks of your initial enquiry. This may vary depending on availability and how quickly funding is approved, but we always aim to keep things moving swiftly and keep you informed at every stage.

Yes. Access to Work and workplace adjustments are available at any stage of your career – whether you’re just starting or have been in your role for years. It’s never too late to seek support that helps you thrive.

Yes, we do. Depending on your location and preferences, we can deliver assessments and follow-up support in person, remotely, or through a blended approach. We’ll always adapt to what works best for you and your workplace.
